Grilled Fish (Ikan Panggang)
Clean the fish, make 2 diagonal cuts on each side and rub with salt.
Wrap each fish in a banana leaf and grill under a gas or electric grill.
Alternatively, cook over an open fire.
Serve with Sambal Asam.
- Any medium to large sized fish may be used – e.g. lkan Kembong, lkan Terubok, Ikan Parang, lkan Selar Kuning (mullet, bream, snapper etc.)
- Rectangular pieces of banana leaves large enough to wrap fish.
